Active Infrared Door Sensor with Built-in Touchless Switch
For use in Knowing Act Slide Door applications, the Air-Slide T with BlueZone™ provides safety and convenience in one unit. The Air-Slide T Active Infrared Door Sensor from OPTEX includes a built-in Touchless Switch. When the door is closed, the sensor operates as a virtual door switch, activating the door only when someone approaches the door and presents a hand near the sticker. This eliminates unwanted activations due to cross traffic. When activated, the Air-Slide T provides safety throughout the threshold area keeping the door open until all people have moved away. Provide a high level of safety while eliminating cross-contamination points in your customer's facility with the Air-Slide T from OPTEX.
Eliminate one of the only cross contamination points on a low energy or knowing act door by installing the OPTEX Air-Slide T Combination Sensor and Door Switch. Perfect for environments such as hospitals where one may wish to open a door without touching anything.
How it Works
How it Works: When the approach area detects a person or object, the sensor will activate the door and turn on the BlueZone™ which detects through the threshold. As long as someone is in the detection area, the sensor will keep the door in the open position. Once the area is cleared, the BlueZone™ will ignore the door panels and allow the door to safely close.
Ideal for Crowded Areas
The Air-Slide T is ideal for busy places such as restaurants or shop fronts along crowded streets. The Air-Slide T saves energy by helping to avoid unnecessary door openings.
Snow mode and sensitivity adjustments make this sensor suitable for every application and even extreme weather conditions.
Why install safety sensors and Knowing Act devices when you can provide the function of both in a single device? Reduce labor costs and eliminate another part that can be damaged.
Provides safety throughout the threshold area by keeping the door open until all people have moved away.
By using easily set switches and shutters, the sensor can be quickly adjusted for many different applications. No external set-up device is needed.
